Indeed, or to a lesser extent Ian Evatt!
yeah but he had 2 excellent wingbacks , Rooney and Quigley and a back 3 that could play football makes a difference !
Agreed but isn't the number 1 priority of a club to have somebody, be it the manager or a person in charge of signings, who can judge a player?

We may criticise some of Pete Wild's tactics and decisions, but looking at our time back in EFL he is a definite improvement on Dunn, Jolley, Cooper and Brown.
I don't believe any rational person would advocate a change of manager when you compare Wild with any of the other managers who followed him other than Rob Kelly. Even I, who don't like his style of football, think that would be madness!

Maybe a good selling point to young centre halves to come to us. Learn alongside an ex premier league and Welsh international

Well we've certainly done it before. Jimmy Dunne comes to mind. Now a regular at QPR in the Championship. Also Bobby Thomas now a regular for Coventry City also in the Championship.

Paddy Madden, Miles Hypolite and Ryan Croadsdale all released by Stockport. Croadsdale is perhaps the most interesting one?
Paddy madden would be a statement and half
Rumoured to be Chesterfield bound

Why would we want a geriatric striker - legs will have gone!

Wasn't the 'statement signing' remark made when we signed our 'goal-scoring machine'.

If this refers to Garner his strike rate doubled when he went out on loan.
I think we need a way of playing that gives our forwards more opportunities, it's easy to blame Ged Garner, Dom Telford and so on but not sure it's fair.

Garner reminds me of Bamford at Leeds he's a decent footballer but his finishing is woeful but could we work on this?

I don’t think it’s his finishing that’s the problem, more his work rate
