We have players on loan now, but none from more established and successful clubs
Historically some of our better loanees have come from top clubs.
Yates from Nottingham Forest
Stephenson from Liverpool.
Dunne from Burnley.
McClelland from Chelsea.
All were very good, but sadly the lad from Aston Villa this year couldn’t make the first team - injury I think.

New interview confirms Paul Gallagher has joined.... gone the cheap and cheerful route that we all weren't hoping for, hope it doesnt bite us on the arse but we know our luck.....

What else do you suggest.? Without our owners pumping hundreds of thousands of pounds of their own money into the club we probably would not have survived in the EFL for more than one or two years. It was obvious at the start of season Q&A and in the interviews with Adam on Radio Cumbria with Paul Hornby that what they have been doing is now not sustainable. Although not specifically asking it was a plea for new investment.

All done on the eve of Noel. Will it work out come season end, I would say definitely maybe. All depends who comes into the building and who gets shipped out during this next transfer window.

Cannot see the confirmation of the appointment.

What it does mean we are at the end of the road finance wise.
We needed a run in the cup and messed up.

In a nutshell we can't afford to be in the EFL, then we'll be lucky to survive,the board should have at least been honest instead we've had to endure deadendfootball played by some ( not all ) bang average footballers without a gameplan and without little inspiration from the Management, hope I'm wrong but it doesn't look good!, As for no money if we go down the board are 1 million down in revenue with increased travelling costs!

We aren’t privy to whom was available and if the decision was based on spending to strengthen on the playing side come January, we can only speculate at best.
No doubts the owners will be having to dig into their holiday funds again this January. I can imagine the difficult conversations now!
Three weeks in Disneyland Kids and Grandkids or a few new players for our team. I know what the kids/grandkids would be saying.
I don’t really like football anymore Dad and Grandad Ok we promise we will all go next year.

Our owners are wealthy individuals in their own right but not "football wealthy" as was pointed out on the Barrow social recently.
