Great to see Byron in a Barrow shirt on Saturday- showed his quality in keeping possession with swivels and short passes. He would have scored if Angus had made a simple pass while through on goal. Never been over impressed with Angus but I acknowledge he is young, has pace and seems to have a great attitude so hopefully will get better.Only concern with Greaves is his size-looks to be half as big as Waddington! The triallist at centre half looked composed and I was surprised to learn he was such a young lad. Excellent summation above by Chipmunx by the way!

Thanks for that summation. Angus has pace to burn and Im looking forward to seeing him fully fit and flying. Harrison’s strength is holding off defenders and bringing team mates into play. A perfect fit for an Evatt side. I would be happy if he comes back to us.

This is all about getting match fitness and building those partnerships. Roll on August 3rd.
"To achieve anything and to get to the Football League, we have to expect to win every game. I've got to get everyone believing that we can, and I will work hard to embed that mentality into the players, the town, the board and whoever else” Ian Evatt.

it's early so it is difficult to tell with most of the new players but here's my view so far having been to all 3 matches so far;-

Dominic Greaves - will be a big player for us this season - arguably our best signing.
I presume you mean Oliver Greaves?! We're all in an awful lot of trouble if my uncle is playing for Barrow.
