Isn’t the point that he doesn’t have a fixed starting 11? The team he picks is based on what sort of game he wants us to play against the opposition on that day. Naming the same 11, regardless of the opposition, isn’t how the modern game is played. The big difference this year is that we have such a good squad that he can do this.

Agreed we are akin to a meccano set these days, lots of interchangeable parts that still works in the main which ever way you put it together as long as you rewrite the plan accordingly beforehand. But I can’t see too many changes for this one, one to two max.
