Re: Decisions being made

So to sum up Nothing is decided and wont be for a few weeks The whole Football structure is a pyramid which relies on interaction (promotion and relegation) between the different organisations (PL - CH - EFL - NL - etc) The FA have made a decisions for the lowest tiers of football to cancel it as al...

Re: Decisions being made

I suspect the 28 days may be because this is a special resolution being put forward under the Companies Act (I haven’t read all the thread but I am sure some one posted details of the proposal and it referred to the 2006 Companies Act. Therefore it may be they have to wait 28 days (it might be possi...

Re: Decisions being made

I think you're missing the point: the Belgian FA is in a pretty unique position that it has an almost complete table it can base it's final standings on. It's not applicable to all the other nations where their league table is only about 80% complete. I get what you're saying, but they've completed...

Re: Decisions being made

Instead of everyone driving themselves crazy over analysing every article/post/comment and guessing what it means - why don’t we all just wait and see what happens when the officials at FA and The Leagues actually say something official. Until then everything is just speculation and people’s opinion...

Re: Corona

That isn’t the case. The 80% is for those who would have been laid off, in order to be retained as employed. As long at they are on pay as you earn, taxation. I agree - but my point is that I don't think the players could have been seen to have been laid off as they are under and FA contract of emp...

Re: Corona

The 80% is for employees who have been laid off - as the players are under football contracts of employment which guarantee that they have to be paid even if the club is in financial difficulties (I know this from experience in 1999) I doubt they could be considered as Furloughed and therefore it c...

Re: Corona

Is that 5k a week taking into account that 80% of all salaries up to a maximum of £2500 a month can be claimed from the Government? The 80% is for employees who have been laid off - as the players are under football contracts of employment which guarantee that they have to be paid even if the club ...

Re: Wrexham off

I guess youve worked that out or you wouldn't have wrote it ! I pinched it from Steve Leonard who is an accountant and presumably knows about such things - and can do the sums! :) Whilst I would like to take credit (or maybe not !) I didn’t say it - someone else posted it - possibly in the a reply ...

Re: Champions

Whilst I hope it doesn’t happen - why does it matter what other fans think ? For the the reason this generation still discusses our relegation out of the football league. Different opinions and different reasons. We have waited 48 years for this moment and it would have been just if it had been str...

Re: Ticket Sales/Refunds

Could the club say that existing tickets will be no longer valid for any rearranged game (unlikely to happen) and that any unclaimed refunds will be treated as a donation, thus avoiding VAT? Possible but difficult I think- every Match there will already be tickets sold but not used but as there was...

Is this a 5 minute argument or a 10 minute argument?
How dare you limit it to 5 or 10 mins, I demand a full 90 with a 15 minute break half way
Will we change our sides of the argument at half time ? I

Re: Champions

Would be a bit or karma though the way we ended up dropping out the league on a serious note we have been top for a long time its not as if we have only just got there so surely would not be too controversial to put us up we are 1 game away from playing the number of games a premier side plays in f...

Re: Ticket Sales/Refunds

I wouldn’t buy more tickets for matches where you already have them. Tickets sales attract VAT so 16.67% of the ticket sales will be paid to HMRC - instead I would keep your original ticket and use it when the game gets played. Instead make a donation to the Bluebirds Trust which won’t have any VAT ...
