Granite will never be forgotten running around up front with one arm trying to hold onto a 1-0 lead against Sutton. Good luck to him, one moment that demonstrated what that team was all about.
I agree. He goes with our thanks and best wishes.

Re: Matchday in L2, is it going to be much different

It is something to do with the lack of distance between the pitchside wall and the building wall and not enough room for a crush barrier.
I am just happy I won't have to move from my reserve seat because of segregation.

Any football fan who wants another club to fold is not a football fan, just scum.
Well I guess that is the difference between non league and football league. I only saw regret and sympathy for the fans when Darlington went. Comments on why it happened but no rejoicing.

Thanks to the Trust for choosing the GMV as recipients of the proceeds.
Ian is so frugal every penny will be wisely spent.

Re: Ian Evatt

He should stay for another season.
He has done well for Barrow in the National league but hasn't been tested in the football league. A further season to find his feet and then assess his options.
The pressure at Bolton will greatly exceed anything at Barrow.

What a lovely message.
Ady was a real gent and a fan person.
Shows that Barrow AFC never leaves those who have the best interests of the club at heart.
I.hope he is doing well and happy in his new post and wish him all the best.

Fylde at home was the moment as someone not from Barrow it really felt like the town in general was starting to believe; huge crowd that day and we almost won with ten men One of the highlights of the season for me was Scott Quigley putting us 1-0 up in front of a packed Holker Street on Boxing Day...
