Brilliant news and credit to the board also, would have no issue with him moving to a league club etc in the future, but glad hes seen sense and realised fylde is certainly not a step up

Re: Fylde Approach for IE
That's a fantastic end to a very topsy turvy week. Its been a very unpleasant 24 hours in which virtually every thought I've had about Ian Evatt, his character and personality, his desires and ambition have been challenged. I never really believed the suggestion although when talk of "statements" being prepared were mentioned in conjunction with Fylde I was truly worried. The thought that Fylde might come back for a second bite was very plausible.TaylorBAFC wrote: ↑Sat Oct 19, 2019 10:34 am Improved contract signed. That's why you don't panic until official word is made!![]()
However I switched off the forum yesterday afternoon and went searching on media websites for any evidence that the idea the IE had seemingly already agreed terms and was going and found absolutely none other than references back to originating thread. After about 2 hours I thought it might be false. After 3-4 hours I was pretty convinced.
Its quite possible that there was a hint of truth in relation to the behaviour of Fylde and its also possible maybe probable that the "preparing of statements" actually related to the improved contract terms with IE. But it shows how easy it is to put 1+1 together and make 3. If there's one place to allow rumour discussion its the forum and its great to get a "scoop". So I wouldn't be too harsh and I'm sure no malice was meant. But you do have to be careful even within the forum that such rumours have legs before you drop them especially when the outcome would be so negative.
I'd just love some football now.

You have too much time on your hands SB
Re: Fylde Approach for IE
Great news on the new contract. Does anyone know the length of the deal or is it simply a case of improved terms?

Now we need the fans through the turnstiles...
An Improved offer for the manager who only signed a new one in the summer certainly wasent budgeted for at the start of the summer..

Th aboard have dug deep to sort this, time the barrow public showed their support - a good win today will go a long way to paying this off
Re: Fylde Approach for IE
His agent (?) Steve Whiston on Twitter says "improved and extended".
Wasn't the third year of his contract optional on Barrow's part? Presumably that's been made definite.
Re: Fylde Approach for IE
Even better news then

No I don't as the shite stirring to22er was saying they have seen a photo of IE at Fylde when its simply not true....SHITE STIRRING.Thenotorious wrote: ↑Sat Oct 19, 2019 8:57 amI have spoken with a former member of this forum this morning and its not him. Why do the Mods allow this SHITE STIRRER back with these multible accounts when he has been banned repeatedly

He offers nothing except pushing his anti BAFC agenda & his attention seeking disorder, Shame on you.
Fylde are doing everything possible to derail our season & cup chances, I hope they wither away & soon.
I think IE will stay, he seems a man of his word.
Your family member lies constantly so whatever he says is viewed this way, Hardly a surprise is it, If you want to be believed you shouldn't lie for Swarthmoor should you!!
Noted how you single me out here when dozens of posters (not on this thread) but in general have said similar & repeatedly about him previously, Did you reply to all of them?
